EUROVISION, the media and marketing rights holder of the FIS Alpine Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek, Colorado will produce and deliver more than 900 hours of HD international broadcast coverage to an estimated one billion viewers worldwide during the next two weeks (2 to 15 February).
As host broadcaster, EUROVISION, through its production company Eurovision Production Coordination (EPC), is providing an array of services with the support of 200 broadcast professionals from 10 countries: everything from venue construction-coordination to the management of International Broadcast Centre and the related on-site management of 26 commentary positions, 39 mixed zone positions, seven announcement positions and two studios overlooking three different venues, all linked via 100 kilometers of fiber and audio/video cables.
The HD signal will be distributed to rights-holding broadcasters via the EUROVISION worldwide satellite and fibre network. Additionally, EUROVISION will carry multiple exclusive circuits for individual clients.
Digital distribution will be made available through the Federation's website as well as the EUROVISION Sports TV online platform. Mobile viewers can follow the competition using EUROVISION Sports Live mobile application.
EUROVISION will provide specific services to its Members with Sports News items and recently developed live visual radio feeds. EUROVISION Sports News will focus on producing interviews, press-conferences and breaking news and will provide short news-clips to EUROVISION Members on a daily basis.
Radio audiences will also be well-served. Live visual radio feeds consisting of live data slideshows will be available on listening radio devices, broadcast websites as well as EUROVISION Sports TV as a means to engage young fans.
Additionally, EUROVISION is managing all contractual and on-site issues with its Winter Sports Team, which will also run a comprehensive marketing programme through its service provider Tridem Sports.

Over the next two weeks, EUROVISION promises to capture the excitement and festivities of the event and its athletes, said Mr K rten. As host broadcaster, we're uniquely placed to manage the numerous requirements of a broadcasting entourage of producers, camera operators, technicians and commentators. From marketing sports rights to distributing premier live sports, news and music, EUROVISION is ready to take on any challenge.
