From July 1, programs of Belarus 5 channel will be included in the public package of television programs obligatory for distribution in the Republic of Belarus 01.07.2015

From July 1, the broadcasting of Belarus 5 television program, included in the list of television programs, composing a mandatory public package of television programs approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers, will be carried out within the basic package of programs of commercial terrestrial digital television broadcasting under DVB-T2 standard in an open format.

The public affairs service of the Belarusian Television and Radio Company noted, that Belarus 5 is the first national sport channel, a niche channel in the structure of the state media holding of the country, a channel the basis of which is the usage of exclusive sport content. The broadcasting of the channel on the territory of the country began with the help of cable telecommunications operators, as well as through IP-television via RUE Beltelecom (digital terrestrial television ZALA ) in October 2013.

Live broadcasting of the major international competitions, high achievements sport, special thematic programs, the latest sport news are available to Belarusian fans.

Belarus 5 channel is included in the package Kanapa TV SMART ZALA.
