The largest third party coal industry chain e-commerce platform "www. Zhaomei.com" announced on July 1 that since July 1 it will provide 5million subsidy for the coal trade businessmen in Jiangsu and Zhejiang and terminal users. It is the first money-burning campaign in the field of coal e-commerce since the platform won 30 million Pre-A financing.
Statistics show that coal remains 65% in the first energy production and consumption structure. The total consumption in 2014 totaled 4.26 billion tons. The annual coal consumption in Zhejiang is about 0.14 billion tons in Zhejiang Province. All of them were imported from outside the province. 60% of them were transferred from Ningbo. With the transit coal from other cities in Yangtze River Delta, the estimated annual coal trade volume in Ningbo is about 100 billion. Ningbo has become an important coal distributing center in East China. The website www. ZHAOMEI.com was set up Cui Song, a Ningbo merchant, which started in June this year. Thanks to the great potential of the coal market and the rich experience of operation team, it was immediately recognized by the capital market. Now, it has won 30 million Pre-A investment from Source Code Capital and BAT founder.
As the founder and CEO of ZHAOMEI, Cui Song majored in IT at university. After graduation, he found a job in a IT-related job in a large telecom company. Later, he quit the job and engaged himself in the coal trade for about 10 years. Ningbo has about 900 coal traders. But currently there is over production capacity. The electricity price drops. As a B2B E-commerce platform which focuses on the upper and lower enterprises of coal industry, ZHAOMEI improves the sale circulation and expand the sales channels for the sellers and buyers through free one-to-one matching. By guiding coal mines, coal trade enterprises, terminal users to use internet and mobile terminals, it will publish information of supply and demand, logistics, and financing to fulfill the aim of free-sharing of resources and online trade.
Zhaomei provides free coal trade matching through online transaction, offline trade, online flow of business and offline logistics, thus making the coal price transparent. The mode effectively saves the sale cost of coal enterprises and decreases the loss and added price in the logistics.
Cui said Zhaomei will continue to introduce more A financing at proper time and accelerate the layout of coal e-commerce internet and offline resources. It will build a big data environment for coal industry, fulfilling the optimization of coal industry value chain and promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional coal trade enterprises in Ningbo and Yangtze River Delta.
