CANNES (October 13, 2014) - Breakthrough Entertainment and Toronto-headquartered feature film production company Sudden Storm Entertainment have teamed to co-produce Miss Don't Touch Me (13 x 30; 6 x 60), a dramatic series that peeks into a dark and sexy world of fantasy, fetish and murder. Breakthrough Entertainment will also handle worldwide distribution of the drama, launching sales at MIPCOM.

Based on the critically-acclaimed bestselling graphic novel series, Miss Don't Touch Me follows a young woman who is traumatized after witnessing the brutal murder of her sister and embarks on a dangerous road for revenge. She follows a mysterious figure to The Pompadour, an expansive and exclusive brothel hidden in a private enclave and known only to a select and powerful few. Convinced her sister's murder is connected to a regular patron known as The Butcher of the Dances, she tricks her way in and becomes hired as the house dominatrix. As she gets closer to solving the murder of her sister, she also discovers her own hidden depths and gains a new sense of confidence as the Pompadour's popular Miss Don't Touch Me.

The graphic novel rights were negotiated by Lauren Duvault for Dargaud, the publisher of the series based in France.
