BERLIN Season 2 Starts Filming

Netflix has announced the start of production for the second season of BERL N, the spinoff of La Casa de Papel, which continues to be in the Top 10 most-watched non-English language series in Netflix's history.

Pedro Alonso once again takes on the role of the iconic Berlin, and along with him, his entire gang returns: Michelle Jenner (Isabel) plays Keila, an eminence in electronic engineering; Trist n Ulloa (The Asunta Case) is Damian, a philanthropic professor and Berlins confidant; Bego a Vargas (Welcome to Eden) is Cameron, a kamikaze who always lives on the edge; Julio Pe a Fern ndez (Through my Window) Berlins faithful squire; and Joel S nchez plays Bruce, the relentless man of action in the gang.

The plot of this second season moves to Spain, and the new heist will take place in Seville. There, Berlin and his gang will encounter new characters such as Candela, an unpredictable and temperamental Sevillian woman played by Inma Cuesta (The Mess You Left Behind); the eccentric and hedonistic Duke of Malaga lvaro Hermoso de Medina, played by Jos Luis Garc a-P rez (Honor); and his mysterious and refined Duchess of Malaga Genoveva Dante, played by Marta Nieto (Mother).

The eight episodes of the series, created by lex Pina (La Casa de Papel, Sky Rojo) and Esther Mart nez Lobato (La Casa de Papel, Sky Rojo) are written by themselves together with David Barrocal, Lorena G. Maldonado, and Itziar San Juan, and will be directed by Albert Pint (Nowhere, Sky Rojo), David Barrocal (Sky Rojo, El refugio at mico) and Jose Manuel Cravioto (El refugio at mico, Diablero).

The filming of this second season will take place over several weeks in Madrid, Seville, San Sebasti n, and other locations in Spain.

On its release week, the first season of BERL N was the most-watched series globally and reached the Top 10 in 91 countries. The series continues to be in the Top 20 of the most-watched non-English language series in Netflix history.
