September promises to be an eventful month for the content creation community. Once the dust has settled on the first ever fully virtual IBC Showcase, TVBEurope readers can look forward to more insight and instruction from Future's very own Photography Show & The Video Show Virtual Festival, which takes place on 20th and 21st September.
Registration is now open for the event which will give attendees free access to more than 130 exhibitors (including Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Sony, Panasonic and Fujifilm), 170 expert talks and demos, new kit launches, galleries and more.
The Main Stage sessions have six programmes to choose from. Out & About covers photography and filmmaking outdoors, and Create & Motivate includes interviews with David Yarrow, Sarah Waiswa and Doug Allan, and a live session with Chase Jarvis. Editing & Post-production features a tutorial from Julieanne Kost, while Connect covers essential business and marketing guides. There are also programmes dedicated to Photo Skills and Video Skills.

Visitors can browse the Galleries (created by SheClicks, Gurushots, AOP and SPi Awards teams) or visit the Analogue Spotlight to learn more about the return to non-digital photography. The Exhibitor Academy offers talks from the Canon Stage, Nikon School, and Sony Alpha Academy, while the Burst Mode Hub will give attendees a chance to see brand new gear reviewed by our experts.
A charity auction will also be held on behalf of official charity partner, the Disabled Photographers' Society. More information, as well as registration details, can be found at www.photographyshow.com.
The Photography Show & The Video Show has welcomed thousands of photographers and filmmakers to the UK Birmingham NEC for six years and was originally postponed from its traditional March dates due to the outbreak of the pandemic. Its new virtual festival format will enable professionals and enthusiasts to come together to see the latest kit, tech and tutorials from the world of filmmaking and photography, all for free.
