Argello Named GM of Denver Telemundo Station

NBCUniversal's Telemundo Station Group named Tatiana Arg ello as president and general manager of KDEN-TV, the Telemundo station in Denver, effective May 6.

Arg ello, who started her local broadcast TV at KDEN, most recently had been director of local and regional sales for the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations.

In her new job, she will be responsible for leading station operations and will report to Manual Martinez, president of the Telemundo Station Group.

The post has been vacant since January, when Andres Chaparro left the company.

Tatiana is a consummate professional. She is smart and driven and thrives on mentoring her teams to achieve successful business outcomes while helping to foster their professional growth, said Martinez. I am excited she will lead Telemundo Denver - a station that continuously ranks as the #1 Spanish-language station in Denver among key demos and across our local news and primetime programming periods.

Arg ello joined KDEN as an intern 18 years ago, working there from 2001 to 2008 before moving to Telemundo's station in New York. She worked there from 2008 to 2014 before being named Northeast National Sales Director for the Telemundo Station group. Earlier this year she was promoted to her present position.

Arg ello is a member of the She Leads program launched by the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations division in 2018 for high potential female sales leaders. It provides them with mentoring, tools and exposure to acquire leadership roles within the company.
