Google joins the project Journalism Innovation HUB of RTVELa iniciativa Journalism Innovation HUB', impulsada por RTVE junto Telef nica, Watchity y VSN, contar con las herramientas de Google Cloud Platform haciendo especial foco en big data e inteligencia artificial.
The project Journalism Innovation HUB of RTVE suma a su actividad a Google, tras la entrada de otras empresas como Telef nica, Watchity, VSN y la direcci n del Festival de Teatro de Almagro. Esta colaboraci n es posible gracias al convenio que han suscrito Enrique Alejo, director general corporativo de RTVE, y Fuencisla Clemares, directora general de Google Espa a y Portugal.
The HUB Journalism Innovation cuenta con la colaboraci n de empresas que comparten con RTVE el inter s en el estudio de las nuevas tecnolog as audiovisuales aplicadas a informativos. A ellas se une Google, cuya misi n es organizar la informaci n del mundo y hacerla universalmente accesible y til para todos.
La empresa tecnol gica participa ofreciendo todas las herramientas de Google Cloud Platform haciendo especial foco en big data e inteligencia artificial. El objetivo es la investigaci n y mejora del proceso de una noticia: ingesta, preprocesado, an lisis, streaming, transcodificaci n, etc. Se trabajar en casos como la detecci n de contenido inapropiado, el autoetiquetado de fotos y videos, la transcripci n de audio o el auto subtitulado.
En esta firma, la directora general de Google Espa a y Portugal, Fuencisla Clemares, ha resaltado la importancia de este acuerdo, que es estrat gico para Google. Es una satisfacci n que RTVE cuente con el apoyo y colaboraci n de Google , ha concluido.
Enrique Alejo, director general corporativo de RTVE, tambi n ha calificado de satisfactorio y estrat gico el acuerdo que se acaba de firmar. RTVE est abierta al ecosistema audiovisual y Google es uno de los socios importantes de este HUB, junto a otras empresas tambi n grandes como Telef nica y otras m s peque as como Watchity, VSN y el Festival de Teatro de Almagro .
La primera empresa en unirse al HUB fue Telef nica, que participa en el estudio conjunto de las alternativas para la comunicaci n de la informaci n a la audiencia y la interrelaci n con la misma, aportando tambi n su experiencia en tecnolog a audiovisual y, un conjunto de pruebas relacionadas con la nueva tecnolog a 5G aplicada al nuevo modelo de comunicaci n.
A este proyecto tambi n se uni Watchity, empresa que ha desarrollado una plataforma de producci n en la nube de v deo en vivo, que combina captura m vil, realizaci n multic mara en cloud y distribuci n multicanal para crear nuevos formatos y narrativas digitales. En el HUB de RTVE se centra en la realizaci n multic mara sobre servidores en cloud.
Adem s, hay que sumar la participaci n de VSN, compa a tecnol gica global especializada en el desarrollo de soluciones IT y software broadcast para gesti n de procesos de negocio, producci n de noticias o eventos en directo y automatizaci n de la emisi n y distribuci n de contenidos. Esta empresa participa en el HUB en los temas de edici n y gesti n de contenidos en la nube , para indizaci n autom tica y tareas de documentaci n.
Transformaci n digital de los informativosThe HUB Journalism Innovation es un proyecto de RTVE que nace con el objetivo de estudiar la transformaci n digital de los informativos, incluyendo las nuevas tecnolog as y nuevas formas de hacer para que una noticia llegue al espectador. Se trata de un proyecto abierto, cuyos resultados servir n para radio, televisi n y medios interactivos, que persigue que todas las herramientas y funcionalidades se implementen en la nube , sin la utilizaci n de infraestructuras locales.
Comenz su actividad el pasado mes de febrero y realizar una primera prueba de concepto durante la 41 edici n del Festival Internacional de Teatro Cl sico de Almagro.
El objetivo es el de estudiar la transformaci n digital de los informativos, incluyendo las nuevas tecnolog as y nuevas formas de trabajar para que la comunicaci n de este tipo de eventos llegue al espectador.
