Charlotte, NC, has become a hub for remote sports-television production. Facilities in the city include FOX Sports' hub, where (along with its Los Angeles home on the FOX Lot) the broadcaster handles live game productions via a model it calls Home Run Production.
At the SVG Remote Production Forum, we caught up with Devin Klein, senior manager, broadcast cperations, Fox Sports, to get an inside look at the Charlotte facility and how the broadcaster approaches decisions around Home Run Productions.
