Mendez de Vigo says that "Spanish cinema enjoys very good health" En v speras de los Premios Goya, el Ministro de Educaci n, Cultura y Deporte aborda en el Congreso la situaci n actual y las perspectivas de la industria cinematogr fica.
El ministro de Educaci n, Cultura y Deporte y portavoz del Gobierno, igo M ndez de Vigo, ha destacado, en la sesi n plenaria de control del Gobierno en el Congreso de los Diputados, que el cine espa ol nos da satisfacci n y alegr a y eso es lo que vamos a celebrar todos este s bado en la gala de los Premios Goya .
Jos Andr s Torres Mora, del Grupo Parlamentario Socialista, ha preguntado al ministro cu ndo el Gobierno dejar el Gobierno de castigar al cine espa ol? El diputado socialista ha recordado que cuando el Partido Popular lleg al Gobierno exist an 460 pantallas y 160 salas m s.. que hoy est n, muchas de ellas, en manos de grandes almacenes .
El ministro, por su parte, ha subrayado que el cine espa ol goza de muy buena salud. De ello da prueba la realizaci n de 168 pel culas, 5 de ellas con m s de un mill n de espectadores; hemos llegado a un 20% de cuota de mercado y aumentado un 5% en recaudaci n y espectadores
En 2015 hemos cambiado la financiaci n del cine y yo creo que para mejor, tambi n hemos modificado la Ley del Impuesto de Sociedades introduciendo m s deducciones para atraer m s rodajes internacionales, por ejemplo .
En relaci n con la fiscalidad del cine, el ministro ha indicado: En nuestro ADN no est subir los impuestos porque creemos que donde mejor est el dinero de los espa oles es en sus bolsillos, pero tambi n debemos cumplir con la senda del d ficit p blico .
Este a o tenemos un compromiso que hemos suscrito con Ciudadanos -ha a adido- y vamos a bajar el IVA de los espect culos en directo. Una vez cumplamos con la senda del d ficit bajaremos tambi n el IVA para las entradas al cine .
