Samsung Electronics today showcases a range of cutting-edge products for the home and office with a range of new TVs, home appliances, printing and mobile devices at its European Forum in Malaga, Spain.

Outlining his vision for the future of the consumer electronics industry, Andy Griffiths said that four mega trends' were shaping the technology demands of consumers: connectivity, urbanisation, an ageing population and new environmental and societal risks.

Andy Griffiths added: We are now operating in a market where the workforce is becoming more mobile, whilst populations and life spans are increasing. All this combined with environmental risks that are beyond our control, means that technology will need to work harder to connect the digital dots in the lives of consumers. Samsung is in the best position to meet these challenges with our broad product range, integrated development and manufacuring and large network of partners.

Among Samsung's key products shown at its European Forum are:

The 78-inch U8500 Samsung Curved UHD TV is the most curved TV in the world. It provides the best picture quality from a normal watching distance of 3-4 meters and also comes with a Auto Depth Enhancer where viewers can also experience a 3D effect without glasses.

Samsung also announced partnerships with global media and content companies such as Netflix and the Vienna State Opera to deliver the best UHD experience. Customers can also look forward to a UHD video pack service that contains UHD content by HDD in co-operation with major studios including 20th Century FOX and Paramount.

The new WW9000 washer delivers elegant design and performance that lets people take care of household chores quickly and easily. The Food Showcase refrigerator with clever internal storage design and innovative fridge technology that keeps food fresh longer.

For easy, on-the-go printing that combines NFC and Wi-Fi Direct technologies, Samsung unveiled its new mono laser printers and multi-function printers, the ProXpress M2880 Series, as well as its series of colour laser printers and multi-function printers, the ProXpress C1860 Series.

The Samsung's 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets both have an industry-leading WQ-XGA display, offering crystal clear resolution with more than 4 million pixels, for a best-in-class tablet experience for both content consumption and powerful productivity. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO line is completed by the Galaxy TabPRO 10.1-inch and 8.4-inch as well. All Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets are running the most recent version of Android 4.4.

The UD590 is Samsung's 2014 Ultra High Definition (UHD) monitor that delivers detailed, high-pixel imaging and stunningly realistic colours.
