Sennheiser wins Best End Point or Device award for PRESENCE Bluetooth headset at Comms National Awards 2015

Sennheiser impressed judges on a range of criteria, including quality of product, impact made to reseller partners and channel support. As well as showcasing the product itself, the ability to quantify the results achieved was key. Financial performance, technical excellence, enhanced business processes and service delivered to channel partners were all criteria for consideration.

Sennheiser's PRESENCE was built as a direct response to the high demand for flexibility in the workplace and identification of Unified Communications as a key market driver. A premium build and superb comfort combine with unique and patented technologies to offer excellent clarity in any environment and across a range of platforms, along with all-day talk time, superb range and fast charging. PRESENCE has opened up new opportunities for resellers and helped to contribute to an impressive 34% annual growth rate in the UK market (compared to an industry average of 14.1%), while 60% of business this year has come from UC projects.

The Comms National Awards is the UK's most prestigious and well respected awards process and this year garnered a record entry of over 150 submissions said Nigel Sergent, Comms National Awards Coordinator. As the awards are independently and fairly judged by a team of industry experts, a Comms National Award is highly prized. Winning organisations should be justifiably proud of their achievement as it demonstrates an ability to deliver a quality service which has been recognised as second to none.

A range of testimonials from satisfied customers helped to illustrate the depth and quality of Sennheiser's channel programme. Sennheiser's proactive approach to reseller support allowed it to actively drive sales to its partners during this time. It has introduced a global account team, a dedicated corporate accounts team who generate around 70% of business in the form of hot leads passed back to resellers, and heavily invested in its partner portal The Blue Space to provide a wide range of materials and further support.
