Los tres principales operadores de telecomunicaciones coparon el 79,8% de los ingresos minoristas del sector, porcentaje algo inferior al 80,5% del mismo periodo de 2017.

El motivo fue el aumento de las l neas de voz vinculadas a banda ancha m vil, que sumaron 1,9 millones de l neas en el ltimo a o, hasta los 44,2 millones, con lo que el 81,8% de las l neas m viles se conectaron a Internet desde su terminal.
En septiembre de 2018, el total de paquetes cu druples y qu ntuples alcanz los 12,1 millones, lo que representa 645 mil paquetes m s que hace un a o. Este aumento corresponde casi en su totalidad a los paquetes qu ntuples.
