Grass Valley meets the request of many private users and offers with the EDIUS X Pro Home Edition the full functionality of the award-winning editing program EDIUS X Pro for less than half the price of the full version. The Home Edition is available for only 209 or 239$ plus local tax.

Three restrictions apply Michael Lehmann-Horn, CEO of magic multi media GmbH and worldwide EDIUS Distributor, explains: The EDIUS X Pro Home Edition is aimed exclusively at private users and may not be used commercially. Furthermore, the Home Edition is not eligible for the standard upgrade to a future EDIUS version 11. And instead of an activation on two PCs, the Home Edition can only be activated on one PC at the time.

EDIUS X Pro is known for its excellent performance and stability and does not require a subscription. EDIUS offers Background Rendering for a smooth, creative, and virtually unstoppable workflow. EDIUS natively supports the latest recording formats and camera codecs and allows mixing of different codecs, framerates, and resolutions on one timeline.

The EDIUS X Pro Home Edition offers the full range of functions and features of the regular full version including the extensive plug-in package from Acon, ProDAD and NewBlue for optimizing audio, title creation and video effects. The upcoming EDIUS X 10.xx updates will also be made available for download free of charge to users of the Home Edition.

At EDIUS.NET users find a large number of free tutorials with tips and tricks. All information, the free support and the software itself is available not only in English, but also in German, French, Italian, Spanish and other languages.
