PSA Notes Their Sacrifice Enables Us All to Enjoy Events Such As the Super Bowl, Encouraging the Game's 100 Million Viewers to Show Their Appreciation by Texting $10 to Wounded Warrior Project

Capitalizing on the largest viewing audience of the year, CBS has teamed up with the NFL to honor America's military men and women and their families in a CBS Cares public service announcement set to air during today's Super Bowl. The PSA, which airs twice today first in NFL TODAY before the game and again in the fourth quarter reflects that the sacrifice made by so many enables us all to enjoy events such as the Super Bowl. The PSA also encourages more than 100 million viewers watching the game to show their appreciation by making a monetary contribution of $10 by texting Wounded Warrior Project via their cell phones (Text WWP to 50555).
The Super Bowl is a terrific venue to honor our military and their families for their service and sacrifice, said Leslie Moonves, President and Chief Executive Officer, CBS Corporation. We are pleased to be joining the NFL and Wounded Warrior Project not only to honor those who have served, but to offer them tangible support as well.
We cannot thank our military members and their families enough for their service to our country, said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The NFL has a strong partnership with Wounded Warrior Project and we are pleased to join CBS in supporting the organization during the Super Bowl.

The airing of today's CBS Cares PSA featuring the voice of Tom Selleck marks the third CBS-aired Super Bowl to include an in-game PSA.
