GPL Technologies will team with NVDIA to showcase new solutions for virtualization and visualization at the upcoming NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference in Silicon Valley and the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
At the GPU Technology Conference (April 4-7 in San Jose), GPL Technologies will be demonstrating NVIDIA technologies in Booth 104.
At NAB Show (April 18-21 in Las Vegas), GPL Technologies and NVIDIA will be at Booth SL10830.
Both events will include live virtualization demonstrations using NVIDIA GRIDTM technology, NVIDIA Quadro professional GPUs and the Quadro Visual Computing Appliance (VCA). The demonstrations will also include several new plugins for the VCA including NVIDIA Iray , NVIDIA's physically-based rendering solution and Chaos Group's popular rendering software V-Ray .
An Elite NVIDIA partner, GPL Technologies has been helping visual effects companies, design studios and others implement virtual desktop infrastructures through the use of NVIDIA GRID and Quadro technologies. Companies are very excited about NVIDIA solutions as they deliver a significant boost in performance in workstation and virtual workflows, says GPL Technologies CEO Brian Terrell. They help companies collaborate more efficiently and productively, where ever their employees may be.
Demonstrations will run continuously on three workstations, with one connected remotely to a Quadro VCA at NVIDIA's headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif. The live demonstration will underscore the VCA's ability to greatly accelerate rendering, and enable artists to make faster design decisions, while reducing reliance on overnight renders.
