The sales amount of the urban complex located in the new city zone of Yinzhou district including Liansheng square, Incity and Qianhu plaza picked up by 20%. The establishment of provincial e-commerce demonstration area and Yinzhou e-commerce team has also impressed the public. Guided by the new format, Yinzhou district is now marching towards the new normal of a quality-oriented growth: the local revenues at all districts stood at RMB 16.62 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.4% in 2014. Besides, it has been wining No.1 for seven years at the provincial level and leading in many economic indicators in Ningbo.
Yinzhou district claimed to prioritize the development of four major new formats in 2014: headquarters economy, e-commerce, mobile internet and production-oriented intermediary service to upgrade the transition of traditional services and accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system so as to build a quality-oriented new Yinzhou.
Headquarters economy is popping up as four major headquarters are located. Currently, the building economy has already become an essential part of developing high-end services. Propped by the newly-built building resources of millions of square meters in the southern business district, Yinzhou is actively cultivating headquarters of traditional advantage local private sectors, cross-border open economic operation, strategic emerging industry and modern high-end service. More than 2,200 enterprises are housed in the first phase of southern business district and 23,000 people working inside it. Not a few commercial buildings have contributed revenues of more than one hundred million.
Traditional manufacturing enterprises began to use the internet on succession and e-commerce is leading the transitional upgrading of them. For the time being, there are more than 2,000 e-commerce enterprises and 12 third-party platforms. Besides, three e-commerce cluster zones were also established: Houli smart park of online shopping, Ouline-commerce park and Jiuwujiu e-commerce park. 19 e-commerce enterprises have made the transactions of RMB 1.5 billion yuan in 2014, an increase of 75.8% over the previous year. Before the eve of the new year, the cross-border e-commerce in the bonded logistics center of Ningbo Lishe International Airport were ultimately cleared by customs which attracted Jingdong the e-commerce giant to sit in.
The new formats such as mobile internet and productive intermediary services show a strong momentum of development. The revenues of 600 software and information service enterprises of Yinzhou district in 2014 account for one fourth of the total revenue of Ningbo. Economic services, scientific and technological intermediaries such as credit guaranty, sci-tech consultation and inspection begin to take shape and become a new growth point of regional economy.
