The NFVF's participation at the Cape Town International Film Market and Festival (CTIFMF)

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), an agency of the Department of Arts and Culture will be participating at the last day of the industry programme at the Cape Town International Film Market and Festival (CTIFMF), on the 13th of October 2018.

The NFVF's participation is twofold, a Work Caf and the ABC of applications sessions.

Work Cafe:

Time: 10h00 - 18h00

Venue: Meeting Room 4, Workshop 17

This session will host representatives from South Africa (NFVF and DTI), Kenya, Nigeria and Brazil as they present an overview of their respective country's national film landscape, mechanisms for film financing and support available for co-productions.

ABC of Funding Applications:

Time: 09h00 - 13h00

Venue: The Comedy Club

The workshop will outline the NFVF's funding programmes, key criteria for evaluation as well as clarifying common mistakes made on funding applications. It is aimed at preparing applicants for the next and future funding cycles.

The NFVF looks forward to productive sessions at Cape Town Internal Film Market and Festival. The success of this market and festival is beneficial to the overall growth of our country's film and video industry. Cape Town is a key destination that attracts a substantial percentage of foreign investment and collaborations with other countries. , says NFVF CEO Mr. Shadrack Bokaba.
