Globo acaba de otorgar la licencia de una de las producciones destacadas de su cat logo de 2018 para el Medio Oriente: la serie Bajo Presi n, que retrata con alta tensi n los dramas vividos por un equipo de m dicos en un hospital con pocos recursos en el suburbio de R o de Janeiro. Ganadora de cuatro premios FIPA D'OR en el 31 Festival International de Programmes Audivisuels (FIPA), celebrado en enero, en Francia, la trama de nueve episodios fue elegida por el MBC Group para su exhibici n en pa ses del Medio Oriente y norte de frica. Adem s de la serie, el grupo tambi n apost a Rock Story, telenovela de gran xito en Brasil y que ahora se lanza en el mercado internacional. Las producciones saldr n al aire en canal abierto MBC 4, dedicado a la dramaturgia y al entretenimiento y su fecha de estreno a n no est prevista.
Importante vidriera de exhibici n de las producciones de Globo en la regi n, MBC es el grupo de canales de entretenimiento m s grande del Medio Oriente y hace a os que apuesta a las series y telenovelas brasile as. Totalmente Diva, Verdades Secretas y A Trav s del Tiempo se encuentran entre los productos ya exhibidos en sus canales. Con argumentos y formatos diferentes, las producciones con licencia refuerzan la variedad y la alta calidad del cat logo que Globo lleva al mercado internacional en el 2018, que promete impresionar a los socios y al p blico en todo el mundo.
Una coproducci n de Globo con Conspira o Filmes, Bajo Presi n emocion a los brasile os y registr excelentes resultados de audiencia de transmisi n en la TV abierta, con un alcance promedio diario de 40,2 millones de personas por episodio y 44 millones en su estreno. La trama tambi n llam la atenci n en la ltima edici n del Toronto International Film Festival, en Canad , donde fue aclamada por la cr tica.
La serie tiene una producci n innovadora, con escenas grabadas en un ala desactivada de un hospital, que permite aportar la adrenalina necesaria para las escenas. Bajo Presi n tambi n trae historias impresionantes, inspiradas en casos reales, y aborda temas de actualidad y de suma importancia para la sociedad, tales como el abuso, el suicidio, el SIDA, el maltrato y la negligencia. En la trama, en un ambiente ca tico y de mucha presi n, surge la relaci n improbable entre el esc ptico Dr. Evandro (Julio Andrade, Justicia) y la religiosa y eficiente Dra. Carolina (Marjorie Estiano, Relaciones Peligrosas). Como colegas de trabajo, ambos tienen en com n el deseo de salvar vidas y deben encontrar el equilibrio entre las dificultades del oficio y los conflictos personales para hacer frente a una rutina ca tica.
Con direcci n de Andrucha Waddington y Mini Kerti, Bajo Presi n es fruto del largometraje de Andrucha Waddington, y una coproducci n de Globo con Conspira o Filmes, creada por Luiz Noronha, Claudio Torres y Renato Fagundes a partir de una idea original de Mini Kerti, libremente inspirada en el libro Sob Press o A rotina de guerra de um m dico brasileiro, de Marcio Maranh o. El autor de la serie es Jorge Furtado, quien escribe los episodios con Lucas Paraizo, Antonio Prata y Marcio Alem o, y cuenta con el asesoramiento m dico de Marcio Maranh o.
Ya Rock Story es una telenovela liviana, con el universo musical como tel n de fondo. Trata de la historia de Gui (Vladmir Brichta, Justicia), estrella del rock en decadencia que necesita reinventarse cuando su carrera comienza a desmoronarse al mismo tiempo que pierde a su mujer, que lo abandona por el astro del momento y su mayor rival; descubre que tiene un hijo adolescente y encuentra un nuevo e inesperado amor. Con emocionantes historias y personajes carism ticos e imperfectos, la telenovela tuvo un gran xito durante su exhibici n en Brasil, con un alcance promedio diario de 37 millones de personas y una participaci n de 44%.
